Areas of Responsibility: Liaison between the management and the Football Club at the training ground ensuring the smooth running of the operation for all parties concerned.
Hosting the Boardroom on match day and hosting visiting Directors and booking throughout their visit to Holker Street.
Booking training venues for overnight stops to away games.
Given my association with the National League Under 19 alliance I will also take special interest in the youth teams.

1976 – 1980 – Gateshead FC and Non league Correspondent in North East for Gateshead Post, Newcastle Journal, Sunderland Echo, Northern Echo and Match Day reporter on Gateshead FC BBC Radio Newcastle
1980-1885 – Press Officer for the Northern Premier League
1985 – 2009 – Member of the North West Counties Football League Management Committee
2011- Now Member of the National League Under 19 Alliance (formerly the Football Conference Youth Alliance)

Favourite Barrow Moments: Saturday 6th May 1967 – Arriving by train to Barrow for the first time and watching Barrow for the first and watching Barrow AFC at Holker Street for the first time on the day we beat Brentford to the promoted for the time in the club’s top flight history from the old fourth division to the then 3rd Division seeing the tops of our floodlights for the first time as I came out of the station and being in the Holker Street ground for the first time.
