The Bluebirds fell to a narrow 3-2 defeat at Chester on Tuesday night.
After going behind 2-0 midway through the first half an extraordinary two minutes of stoppage time at the end of the first half saw goals from Byron Harrison and Adi Yussuf to make it 2-2.
After having the better of the second half, a Dawson goal for the hosts in the 95th minute broke Barrow hearts.

Aldershot came back twice in a 2-2 against Sutton on Tuesday. All four goals were scored in a frantic first half, with goals from Mensah and Rendell earning the Shots a point.
Prior to that game our visitors beat Tranmere at The Rec, following on from an FA Cup victory over Torquay United.
